The small village of Porat is situated on the west coast of the island of Krk, near Malinska. Lovers of Porat's cultural heritage can visit the Franciscan monastery of the third line and the church of St. Mary Magdalene, which dates back to 1500. The monastery has a museum collection with a library, ethnographic collection, glagolitic lapidarium and the original toš (type of circular press used for olive oil production) for pressing olives. For those guests who come on holiday by powerboat or other type of vessel, Porat has a small marina with 70 berths, where you can moor your boat.
